Outils nécessaires

BoPi doesn’t require many tools in order to be properly installed but there are some you will need.

A screwdriver set (including a small 2mm flat screwdriver for the terminal bloc.

A drill and the appropriate drill bits.

• For the plumbing, metal drill bits will do the trick, we recommend a small one (4 to 6mm and a 10mm)
• To affix BoPi to the pool’s technical space, the type of drill bit will depend on the type of wall (concrete, steel, wood, …). BoPi is meant to be mounted using 4mm screws of the appropriate type for your setup.

A wire stripper vice grip.

A crimping vice grip (if you wish to crimp connectors for the 2 and 3 way switches. if you reuse the wires, its not needed).

A spanner set to tighten the plumbing’s support collar for the sensors and injectors as well as the sensor holders.

A multimeter can also be useful to test continuity between connections during intallation.

Some electrical wire. If you follow the guidelines about wiring device, 1.5mm2 solid core wire is more than enough. You can choose any color but if you wire Lead wires, they should be red or brown (or black or orange for the wires going to the switches).

Teflon tape for the sensor holders and injectors

Vaseline can also help keeping the o-ring in place in the support collar during installation.
