Temperature sensor calibration

BoPi gives you the ability to calibrate the temperature sensors if you feel the need. Keep in mind there is some inertia in detecting temperature changes but also that the water temperature is measured in the plumbing, not in the middle of the pool which may create a difference of temperature. You may also consider that the temperature measured without the pool pump running may not reflect the pool’s temperature but the water in the pipe’s temperature.

Calibrating the temperature sensors is easier than the pH or ORP/Redox probes as there is no stablization of the value displayed.

You may still want to give it a few minutes to get to temperature before calibrating.

Below the calibration value, you will find two buttons, one to apply the value you entered, the other to reset the calibration value.

Below that you will find 3 values :

The calibrated temperature

The current calibration which is the difference at the time of calibration between the read value and defined value

The original temperature without calibration applied.

A value of -127.00 means the sensor is not connected.
