Wifi Configuration

In order to connect BoPi to your wifi network, you will need to ensure it is a 2.4Ghz network. Most routers allow you to setup both 2.4 a 5Ghz networks. Some users setup a guest wifi network for IoT devices like BoPi so they run on a separate wifi than the users.

Start by enabling wifi for BoPi.

Enter precisely the name of the wifi network and the password. The password will not be shown again the next time you load the app so as to keep it private.

We recommend you then save the settings (at the bottom on iOS and at the top right on Android) and go to the dashboard to see if BoPi has an IP Address (bottom block of the dashboard) (not 0.0.0.0).

If BoPi has an IP Address, you can continue the settings. If not, please check the wifi name and password for extraneous spaces in the field and try again.

Once BoPi has an IP Address you can proceed to the next step with BoPi Cloud or Home Assistant.
