pH Sensor Calibration

Every pH probe will read a slighly different pH level due to its fabrication. You may decide to use it as is or calibrate it. To calibrate the pH sensor takes a few minutes and can’t be rushed. You may use either powder in water, a ready made pH solution or use your pool’s water and test it with either drops or reading paper and use that to define the pH value.

The first step is to access the calibration screen and place the pH sensor in the solution or water with a known pH value.

Then you just wait. Time to let the pH stabilize.

In the top field, you must enter the calibration value. 7.00 is an example, but must be confirmed as the actual value or replaced by the correct value.

Below that, you have two buttons, one will apply the calibration and the other will reset it, returning to the natural reading of the pH sensor.

Again below that, you have some values to help you.

Stabilized pH is a calibrated value averaged over a few minutes.

Calibrated pH is the real time reading with calibration applied

Current calibration is the correction applied to the natural reading to get to your calibration.

Original pH is the value naturally read by the sensor on which we apply the calibration to get the other values.
