Powering BoPi
BoPi accepts 110/220v AC power straight from a breaker. You will need to connect a lead and a neutral wire to the motherboard’s connectors as indicated below.
We recommend using either an 8A or 10A breaker as they provide a good protection while not being too expensive. BoPis use very little power but we still recommend using 1.5mm2 solid core wire to connect it.

Some users have elected to power BoPi from a Tuya connected plug to allow them a secondary way to check if everything is working remotely and eventually to reboot it if it looses connection to the home wifi following a power or internet outage. This is mostly useful if BoPi is installed in a secondary residence.
