Enable ORP/Redox regulation

When you enable ORP/Redox regulation, you will be offered a variety of settings. You may want to test out the default injection time and injection delays and adjust them if you feel the need after a few days to find the right setting for your pool.

Again if using electrolysis in a salt pool, we recommend you do not use ORP regulation but calibrate the power settings of your electrolysis to run with the pool pump or for long periods during the day via the planning for a variable speed pool pump.

First step is to enable the ORP/Redox sensor. Without it, BoPi can’t know to regulate.

Then you should enable ORP/Redox regulation if you wish to use BoPi to inject liquid chlorine (or an external dosing pump).

You can then select the regulation method as Pump (for one of BoPi’s pumps) or relay if you connect an external dosing pump.

Then you can modify injection time (the duration of an injection) and injection delay (the minimum time between two injections). Both are in seconds and are appropriate for a stable pool of average size.

Finally you should set your target ORP/Redox level. 750mV is the common target but you may want to change it for your application.

Once saved, you may wish to proceed to the ORP/Redox sensor calibration.
